The rum displays an amber color with hints of clean gold and thick leglets which amble slowly into the rum below. Sweet aromas of vanilla, plantain comfiture, toasted almonds and hazelnut toffee with a balanced alcohol flavor. The initial entry into the mouth is persistent and strong of coconut, vanilla, caramel and toasted nuts punctuated by alcohol which reaches the throat in a well-balanced and velvety finish.
