This apricot brandy is made from the old apricot variety Royal Luizet. The high-quality sweet and aromatic Swiss apricots grow in the Canton of Valais region, are picked exactly at the perfect time and are then delivered directly to us.
The apricot distillate first rests in stainless steel tanks for at least two years after being expertly distilled and is then aged in oak barrels for another 14-18 months. After completion of the ageing process, the distillate is further refined with our home-made Bonificateur. This fine dosage, together with the wood maturation, gives this fruit brandy its unique and intense aroma and the subtle sweetness with a very fine and appreciated almond note.
