Foursquare Equidem Rum 750 mL

Foursquare Equidem is the 27th release in the distillery's Exceptional Cask Selection (ECS) series, known for its innovative aging techniques and high-quality rums. 

Production Details:

• Distillation: A blend of pot and column still rums, showcasing Foursquare's commitment to traditional Barbadian rum-making methods.

• Aging: Aged for a total of 14 years, with an initial 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels followed by 9 years in ex-Black Muscat casks—a first for Foursquare. 

• Bottling Strength: Bottled at 61% ABV (122 proof), delivering a robust and full-bodied experience.

Tasting Notes:

• Appearance: Notably dark, possibly the darkest Foursquare rum to date.

• Nose: Dominant aromas of leather and tobacco, complemented by dark cherry, oak, coconut, and sweet red fruits.

• Palate: Thick and luscious texture with flavors of red wine, black pepper, oak, coconut, tobacco, and milk chocolate.

• Finish: Long and peppery with a burst of sweetness, devoid of bitterness, and a subtle cane juice undertone.
