Puni distillery produces this first Italian whisky in the "Highlands of Italy." They source the water from the nearby Stelvio National Park – pure alpine water which is naturally soft and pure. The South Tyrolean climate is characterized by warm summers and cold winters, which promote the whisky's maturation. Traditional Scottish pot stills and state-of-the-art temperature control technology ensure the quality of the whisky distillate.
VINA is the range of whisky matured exclusively in wine casks. This edition was aged for five years in casks from Sicily which have held Marsala wine. Mixed aromas of fruit cake are dominant. Creamy walnuts and sweet sultanas envelop the palate and notes of plums, orange peel, and cherry compote with cinnamon complement the full-bodied character. Bottled at 43% abv.
