WhistlePig The Boss Hog Edition 1 is number one in "The Boss Hog Series" of Whiskeys produced in Vermont to commemorate the Harvest of the Whistle pig. This Special Edition Whisky is produced with a mash bill of corn malted barely and extra rye to impart a spicier tone all through out the whiskey This splendid single barrel is creamy, and sweet on the nose with aromas of fruit, and undertones of wood. The palate awakens you with bold hints of cinnamon, and cloves mingled with hints of vanilla, and oak. The finish has subtle notes of red pepper, and cinnamon on the backend, which is then calmed with a sweet touch of dark chocolate.

WhistlePig The Boss Hog Edition 1 is a rare release worthy of any whiskey collector or connoisseur. It is a pure barrel strength bottled above 100% proof, It is a 100% single grain, straight rye whiskey, crafted from 24 of our oldest and most unique barrels. It was produced in Shoreham, Vermont at a 500 acre farm which is not opened to the public. Whistlepig has continued to grow in popularity due to its longer aging process and premium packaging. This old whisky is Hand Bottled in Vermont.
