Distilled in the spring of 2011, this bourbon has matured for over 12 years on the lower floors of Buffalo Trace's rickhouses, entering the barrel at 114 proof and bottling at a robust 125.8 proof.
On the nose, it presents a harmonious blend of new leather, light pipe tobacco, and caramel, complemented by the warm sweetness of marshmallow and hints of ripe fruit.
